Perline Watkins Snyder

Perline Watkins Snyder, age 83 of Hill Street, Thomasville passed away Friday afternoon February 26, 2016 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday March 1, 2016 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Mishoe officiating and burial will follow at Arrington Heights Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday night and at other times at the home of her daughter. Perline was born in Davidson County April 22, 1932 to Bishop Alexander and Ila Annetta Haltom Watkins. She was a homemaker and worked several years at Britthaven Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Snyder in 1987 and two sons, Randy Lee Snyder and Ronnie Snyder. Perline is survived by her daughter; Cynthia Self (David) of Thomasville; grandchildren, David Wayne Self (Lynn), Tracy Self (Sharon), Donna Kay Taylor (David) and Ricky Snyder; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Zelma Miller of Lexington and Myrtle Watson of Welcome; brothers, Neil Watkins of Thomasville, Van and Jim Watkins both of Lexington.
