H.G. “Pete” Miller, age 89 of Peacock Avenue, Lexington passed away Tuesday evening at his home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday (March 19, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Akers and Rev. Jeff Walser officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the funeral home.
Pete was born in Davidson County September 27, 1920 to John Ingram Mauney and Mabel Mauney. He was a retired employee of Coble Dairy and for over thirty years he delivered oil for Buck Young Oil Company. He was a veteran of the US Army serving his country in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Joe Miller.
Surviving are; one daughter, Barbara Robinson of Lexington; two sons, Tim Miller of Lexington and Johnny Miller of Healing Springs; three grandchildren, Stanley Graham Robinson, Crystal Dawn MaHaffey and Jody Allen Miller; five great-grandchildren and one
sister Raynell Dillon of Winston Salem.
