Peter Daniel Hutcherson

A Celebration of Life for family and friends of Danny Hutcherson is planned for Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Rich Fork Baptist Church, Thomasville. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 at the church before the service begins.

Danny was born in Winston-Salem, NC to Kelly Waddell Hutcherson and Kathryn Rentz Hutcherson.

Danny was an engineer by trade and was most recently employed by Bartimaeus by Design in Thomasville. His passions were enjoying God’s creation in the great outdoors, investing in his family and serving the Kingdom of God. He was a ready mission volunteer and used his God-given gifts in practical ways. As part of his story, he volunteered in Montana, Utah, Alaska and Honduras on construction teams to aid young churches as well as serving in Disaster Relief efforts in North Carolina. Alongside others at Rich Fork Baptist, he constructed ramps for the disabled and hurting in his community.

Danny battled cancer for a year and a half until his time came, and surrounded by his family, he left for his heavenly home.

Left to cherish his memory are wife Christina Stilwell Hutcherson; son Christopher Daniel Hutcherson and wife Rene Canipe Hutcherson, grandchildren Isaiah Daniel Hutcherson and Emily Dawn Hutcherson; son Nathan Hutcherson and wife Allie Hutcherson; daughter Lauren Nicole Hutcherson. Brothers John Hutcherson and wife Charisse Hutcherson; James and wife Beth Hutcherson; Chris and wife Aundi Stilwell and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
