Philip "Phil" Darnell Nance

Mr. Philip “Phil” Darnell Nance, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Lexington, North Carolina. He was born on June 10, 1960, in Bartow, Florida to Richard Darnell and Loretta Nance. He grew up in Lexington and was a graduate of Lexington Senior High School.

Phil was a great lover of music and shared his talent with his family and friends. He was a member of the LSHS Marching Band and continued playing drums and guitar his entire life.

In addition to his father, Phil was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Gregg Nance.

He is survived by his mother, Loretta Nance; two sons, Derek Nance and Andrew Nance (Connie); one grandchild, Pearl Miller Nance; and numerous friends and cousins.

Friends and family are welcome to a visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.
