Phillip Eugene Everhart

Phillip Eugene Everhart, 73, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for 6:00 pm, Friday, December 21, 2018, at the Bethesda United Methodist Church Life Center officiated by Pastor Rick LeBaube.

Phillip was born November 12, 1945 to Irven E. Everhart and Nomi Ellaree Phillips Everhart. He was a former lead mechanic for McLean Trucking and owned his own custom hauling business, Phil Everhart Hauling. His friends and family all knew him as the jokester as he was always the one who left you with a smile and laugh.

Mr. Everhart was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Moncie Lynn Everhart.

Phillip is survived by his daughter, Amanda Wyse and husband Chris of Winston-Salem; brother, Willie Ray Everhart (Kathy) of Lexington; a nephew, Dean Everhart (Shannon) of Murfreesboro, TN; great nephew, Riley Everhart, of Murfreesboro, TN; great niece, Bekah (Ross) Davidson and great-great nephew, Briggs Davidson of Cookville, TN; Alan Casey, special long-time friend; Andrea Adkins, which he loved as a second daughter; and Miss Kitty, his beloved cat.
