Phillip Wayne Lineback

Phil Lineback, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, with family by his side.

Phil was born on March 7, 1951, in Forsyth County to Sam and Beulah Lineback.  He was caring, dependable, and dedicated to his family, friends, and to his Lord.  He will be greatly missed by many.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Melody Lineback, sons Matt Lineback and Adam Lineback with daughter-in-law, Corissa, and grandsons, Malachi and Micah.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 am on February 10, 2024, at Grace Baptist Church Chapel in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he was a member.  Pastor Cletus Titus, Pastor Keith Hudak, and Phil’s two sons Adam and Matt Lineback will be conducting the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church, and burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Phil’s name to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund.
