Phyllis Beeker Leonard

Phyllis Ann Beeker Leonard, 77, of W. US Hwy 64, passed away Monday October 10, 2022 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday October 15, 2022 at Reeds Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Henry Watterson officiating services. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Friday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Leonard was born June 24, 1945 in Davidson County to Melvin Mock Beeker and Frances Elizabeth Goss Beeker.  Phyllis enjoyed traveling, roses, cross stitching, family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Lindsay Leonard.

Surviving is one son, Michael L. Leonard (Heather) of Lexington; two daughters, Shelly Leonard (Michael B. ) of Lexington and Dana Buie (Terry) of Lexington; one brother, Sonny Beeker (Judy) of Mocksville;   one sister, Nancy Beeker of Asheville; 13 grandchildren, Janeice Leonard, Brianna and Coree Monk, Thomas Leonard, Kaytie (Bryt) Jones, Jordan Surratt, Trey Surratt, Kayla Buie, Carol- Ann Buie, Kelsey Buie, Abigail (Abie) Leonard, Meghan Leonard and Katelyn (Kate) Leonard.
