Phyllis Boyd Cecil

Phyllis Cecil age 69 of Cecil Road, Lexington passed away suddenly Monday morning February 13, 2017 at Lexington Medical Center.   Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday February 16, 2017 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Center United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday night.   Phyllis was born in Grayson County, NC June 12, 1947 to Murry Lee Boyd and Marie Gilley Boyd. She was a retired employee of AT&T and also served as a bus driver for Davidson County Schools. She was preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Patsy Sue Boyd.   Surviving are her husband, Jerry W. Cecil of the home daughters, Susan Cecil Berrier of Cape Coral, Florida and Angela Cecil Albani and husband Gary of Lexington; granddaughters, Brittany Berrier and Ally Berrier Sidden and husband Rocky; great-grandchildren, Ella Sidden and Skylar Sidden; her mother age 93, Marie Boyd of Tobaccoville; sisters, Betty Turner of Tobaccoville and Margaret Cecile of Boone; brother, Allen Boyd of Tobaccoville.
