Phyllis Marie Coleman

Phyllis Marie Dean Coleman, 76, formerly of Dixon Street, Lexington passed away Friday July 9, 2010 at Alston Brook Nursing Center. A funeral service will be 12:00 pm Tuesday July 13, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Harold Cox and burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Monday night from 6-8 pm and at other times at her home. Ms. Coleman was born June 19, 1934 in Wake County to Preston Johnny Dean and Bessie Ellington Dean. She was a homemaker. Her parents and her son, Arthur Nicholas (Nicky) Coleman as well as brothers, Luther Rayvon Dean, Hugh Franklin Dean and sister, Jean Nowell all preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughters, Angie Coleman, Charlotte Miller and husband Phil and Gail Marlow all of Lexington. A son, Brian Coleman and wife Trudy of Eagle Springs, NC. Grandchildren: Allison Everhart and Randy, Craig Carter, Tad Marlow, Brandi Carty and Wayne all of Lexington and Nicholas Deen Coleman of Eagle Springs, NC. Also surviving are 8 Great Grandchildren. One brother, Dalton Eugene (Shorty) Dean and wife Sally of Clayton, NC. In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to Austin Brook Nursing Home 4748 Old Salisbury Road, Lexington, NC 27295
