Phyllis Mae Shaw Phillips

Phyllis Mae Shaw Phillips, age 63 of Dorsett Road, Lexington died Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 18, 2011 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Sluder officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mrs. Phillips was born December 29, 1947 in Davidson County to Paul Philemon Shaw and Nell Mae Everhart Shaw. She was an employee of Miles Talbert. Her father, Paul Shaw , and a brother, Vick Shaw preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, Joe Phillips of the home, four sons, Kelly Cannady and wife, Donna, Paul Cannady, Michael Cannady and wife, Tammy, Marty Cannady all of Lexington; a daughter, Joanna Hailey of Lexington; her mother of Lexington, 11 grandchildren, Timmy, Brandon, Hannah, Christopher, Brent, Austin, Shaya, Gavin, Kaleb, Kalea, and Hayden; 6 great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Shaw and wife, Ginger and a sister-in-law, Lucy Shaw of Lexington
