Phyllis Scott

Phyllis Elaine Payne Scott, 50, of Spruce Street, died Thursday, April 30 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 5 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Tommy Hepler. Burial will follow at the Lexington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Scott was born October 26, 1964 in Davidson County to Gid Wilson Payne, Sr. and Dolly Mae Scholtz Payne. She was a homemaker and a member of Leonard Road Baptist Church. Her husband, Randall Aldean Scott, and her brother, Donald Reno, preceded him in death. She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Scott, Sr. and wife, Jeana, Christopher Scott and Joseph Scott, all of Lexington; her daughter, Kelli Reno of Michigan; her brothers, Charles Edward Payne, Sr., David Payne, and Gid Payne, all of Lexington; her sister, Reba Scholtz of Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Hailey Scott, Jeremy Scott, Jr., Aiden Scott, and Kyleigh Scott.
