Phyllis Sink Wray, of Lexington, NC, passed away on September 18, 2025. She was born on August 19, 1952. Phyllis lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a passion for caring for others. Her career as a Registered Nurse at Buena Vista Nursing Home reflected her innate ability to nurture and support those in need. She was a preceded in death by her parents William Joseph Sink Jr. and Margaret Kathleen Miller Sink, three brothers, Kenneth Sink, Ronnie Sink and Eric Sink. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Dale (Greg) Wray of the home; her stepson, David Wray (Casey) of Oregon; her sister Melissa Tomallo (Patrick) of Clemmons; three step- grandchildren, Sierra, Cayden and Taryen; and a sister-in-law, Michelle Norman (Mike). Phyllis loved spending time with her family and found solace and joy in the sun and the sand at the beach creating treasured moments that will be remembered forever. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Phyllis's memory will be cherished, and her impact will continue to resonate through the lives of those she touched. A memorial graveside service will be 12:00 pm Monday September 29, 2025 at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Chaplain Teado Hanchell officiating services. These services will be a time to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the legacy of love and kindness she leaves behind. The family would like to express a special thank you to Wellcare Hospice, and to Michelle and Mike Norman for their loving care in the past year.
