Mrs. Polly Coppley, 83, of NC Hwy. 8, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Thomasville Medical Center.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 1, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1448 E. U.S. Hwy. 64, Lexington, NC, with Pastor Mark Hopkins officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church, 1-2pm, and other times at the home.

She was born on February 9, 1943, in Davidson County, to the late Hubert Montgomery and Mamie Elizebeth Hughes Tucker.

Mrs. Coppley was a devout Christian and longtime and faithful member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, traveling, and reading. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ranzie Leon Coppley; sisters, Jacqueline and Erma Gail; and brothers, Jerry, Melvin, Robert, Cletus, James, and Odell.

Survivors include her daughters, Norma DeLong and Tonya Stoker (Mike); four grandchildren, Derek Stoker, Brittany Stoker, Kendra Britton, and Siara Hobbs; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, David Tucker (Brenda); and a plethora of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be considered for First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1448 East US Highway 64, Lexington, NC 27292.
