Lucy Pauline Styers Lawson Dec. 15, 1927 - Dec. 10, 2013 Heaven rejoiced Tuesday, Dec 10 when another angel came home. Known to most as Polly, Lucy Pauline Styers Lawson was born on 12/15/27. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Howard H Lawson, and eight brothers and sisters, She is survived by her brother Don and sister Ruth, her two loving children, Donna Rowland, Tony Lawson (Bonnie), five grandchildren, Chris, Traci (Charles), Melissa(Patrick), Kerri(Steve), TJ(Tiffany), and nine great grandchildren, Casey, Caleb, Noah, Cohen, Gunner, Riley, AJ, Weston, and Kalia, all of whom were the joys of her life. As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, "Nanny Bell" was the person to go to for advise, guidance, a smile, or an uplifting conversation. She will be missed by all who knew her and remembered as a faithful Christian member of Linville Forest Church of Christ, and a strong, joyful, loving soul. Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec 12 at Davidson Funeral Home 858 Hickory Tree Rd Winston Salem,NC. Funeral services will be held at Linville Forest Church of Christ 450 Linville Rd Kernersville,NC Friday Dec 13 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Parklawn Memorial.
