Polly Regan

June 17, 1927 — August 24, 2012

Pauline Michael "Polly" Regan, 85 was born June 17th, 1927 and went home to her heavenly Father on August 24, 2012. She had been in declining health the past two years, and seriously ill the past 3 months. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church by the Revs. Arnold Gosnell and Myra Ward. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at Davidson Funeral Home and lie in state from 11:30 to 12:00 pm at the Church. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of the daughter, 560 Riverview Blvd, Lexington. Polly, a lifelong resident of Lexington, was the proprietor of POLLY'S BEAUTY SHOP for over 20 years and finished her time in the work force at PPG. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Michael, her mother, Vallie Michael, and siblings: Connie Michael, Ray Michael, Roy "Mike" Michael and Mrs. Bill (Jonnie) Kinney. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Carol Zealy (Kee), and Susan Kines, ( Jim). She leaves 6 grandchildren and their loved ones to cherish the memories made with their NANA : David Zealy (Derek) , Michael Zealy, Jamie Zealy, Elisabeth Kines, Sarah Kastner (Bruce) and James Kines. Her surviving siblings are Mrs John (Louise) Smith of Lexington, Mrs Geri Eastham of Concord and Mr. Jimmie Michael of Alexandria, Va. We would like to thank The entire staffs of both 8 North Renal Unit and the Palliative Care Unit of Wake Forest Baptist Hospital for their love, tenderness and compassion shown our Mother these last months . She felt loved and safe through all your care. Flowers or Memorials of choice will be appreciated.
