Pricie Vance Griswold

Pricie Faye Vance Griswold, 70 of Linwood Southmont Road, died Tuesday August 16, 2016 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A funeral will be held 2:00 pm Friday August 19, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Josh Price officiating services. Burial will follow at Floral Gardens Memorial Park in High Point North Carolina. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:45 until 1:45 prior to the service. Mrs. Griswold was born October 4, 1945 in McDowell County West Virginia, to Cecil Vance and Maude Edna Lester Vance. She was affiliated South Side Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a special friend Athalene Short Surviving is her husband, Gerald Griswold of the home; five brothers, Norman Vance of Tennessee, Ira Vance and wife Meredith of Florida James Vance and wife Darlene of West Virginia, Elmer Lee Vance of Michigan, and Tommy Vance and wife Kaye of Lexington; one sister, Maggie Gibson and husband Jr. of West Virginia; and a she held a special place in her heart for Britney Vance, who she raised from age one.
