Ransom Moseley “Mose” Middleton, 94, of Ridgewood Drive, died Thursday, May 08, 2008, after an extended illness.
A private graveside service will be Saturday at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Middleton was born August 24, 1913, in Greensboro, to Lillian Gainey and Ransom M. Middleton. He was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church and a Kiwanian. He attended King’s Business College, Greensboro. He served with the U.S. Army from 1942 through 1945, serving two years in the European Theater during World War II. Mr. Middleton retired in 1975 as President of Cunningham Brick Company. He was preceded in death by his wives, Catherine Cunningham Middleton and Helen Hamlin Middleton; a grandson, David T. Hutchins; and a brother, James A. Middleton formerly of Greensboro.
Surviving are his daughter, Catherine M. Hutchins and husband, Dewey, of Lexington; and nephews, J. Calvin Cunningham and wife, Julee, Neal S. Cunningham and wife, Cathy, and Richard W. Cunningham and wife, Trina.
