Rachel Beckner

Rachel Cope Beckner, 81, of Swing Dairy Road, is now walking the streets of gold as of December 14th. A homegoing service will be held at 11 am Monday, December 19 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Brother Carson Marshburn. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. Rachel was born January 19, 1941 in Davidson County to Sadie Ester Belle Cope McMasters. She was a kind and caring Christian who contributed to many ministries. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Cope, and her sisters, Patsy Rumfelt and Mary Harrison. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Everhart (Tim), Linda Long (Donny), and Christi Beckner, all of Lexington; her grandchildren, Dale Heninger, Amanda Ingram, Zachary Long, Jordan Beckner, and Chloe Beckner; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Pastor’s Pantry, PO Box 2051, Lexington NC 27293. A special thanks to her nieces, Melisa Buchanan and Torena Neal for their special care of Rachel.
