Rachel Ladd Nance

Rachel Ladd Nance, age 81, of Clemmons passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home of Winston Salem. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Church of Christ–Arcadia Cemetery with Brothers Bobby Leonard and Tony Morrison. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Rachel was born August 20, 1931 in Davie County to William Mckinley Ladd and Lelar Jordan Ladd. Rachel was a faithful member at Church of Christ-Arcadia. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Paul Ladd & Felix Ladd along with sisters Vera Perryman and Norma Jean Leonard. Surviving are her husband of 59 years Brother Jack G. Nance of the home, her son; David Clinton Nance (Teresa) of Lakeland, FL, her daughter; Lara Jane Nance (Joe Sprouse) of Virginia Beach, VA, her brother; James Ladd (Rosa) of Midway, her two grandchildren; Matthew Nance and Sara Nance.
