Racie Lee Weaver

Racie Lee Lanning Weaver, 79 of Alston Brook Nursing Home and formerly of Helmstetler Road, Lexington died early Wednesday morning (12-21-2006) at Alston Brook Nursing Home after two years of declining health. Mrs. Weaver was born June 17, 1927 in Davidson County to Fred Lee Lanning and Glinner Mae Lanning. She was a former employee of Dixie Furniture. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by a brother Frank Lanning; and sisters Thelma Hunt and Daphne Bruff. Surviving are her husband of 60 years Andrew Franklin Weaver. Daughter Judy Everhart of Lexington, grandchildren Teddy Eller and wife Suzy, Andrew Eller, Jennifer Branch; great-grandchildren Brad Everhart, Brandy Eller, T.J. Eller, Elizabeth Eller, Jenny Eller, Alicia Giblin, Bo Wallace, Cameron Branch; twin sister Rachel Kennedy of Southmont; brother-in-laws Lindsay Atkins of Lexington; and Willie Weaver of Tyro. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday (12-22-2006)at Forest Hill Memorial Park, with Rev. Wayne Knight officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at 1295 Beck’s Church Road.
