Raeford "Bub" Bailey

Raeford Lee “Bub” Bailey, Jr, 69, of Wenco Drive, died Saturday, August 25 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness.    A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, August 30 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by the Rev. Doug McGee.  Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.    Mr. Bailey was born July 30, 1949 in Baltimore, MD to Raeford Lee Bailey, Sr. and Mary Catherine Dunning Bailey.  He retired from Lexington Furniture Industries and was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Bailey.    He is survived by his sisters, Linda Bart of High Point, Mary Del Aguila (Luis) of Greensboro, and Joy Bowers (James) of Lexington; his brothers, Mark Bailey of Lexington and Bobby Bailey of Bristol, VA; and his nieces and nephews, Yuri Bart, Matthew Bart, Sixto Rodriguez, Annalee Rodriguez, Andrew Aldridge, Emily Sears, and Daniel English.
