Ralph Ham

James ‘Ralph’ Ham, 80 of Lexington, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 6, 2020.

A private funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 9 th at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Reverend Michael Gates officiating and will be streamed live at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome/

Burial will follow with full military honors at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Ralph was born on May 7, 1940 in Ashe County to Carl Vince Ham and Bessie Ellen Elliott Ham.  Ralph spent his career in the trucking industry as a Safety Director and Terminal Manager and was a member of Meadowview Reformed Presbyterian Church. Ralph proudly served our county in the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Joe, John, and Kenneth and sister, JoAnn Ham.  Ralph was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be forever in our hearts.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sybil Carolyn Lord Ham of 61 years, of the home; daughters, Tammy Robertson (Dean) of Midway, Tracie Weaver (Tracy) of Lexington; and three grandchildren, Morgan Robertson, Brandon Robertson and Brett Weaver.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
