Ralph Bruce Hedrick, 79, of Turner Road, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 A.M. Friday, April 20, 2012, at Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ, where he was a member, with the Rev. William Sowers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mr. Hedrick was born February 8, 1933, in Davidson County, to Carl Edgar Hedrick Sr. and Viola Everhart Hedrick. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Following his military service he was employed at Proctor and Schwartz as a cut off saw operator. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Carl Hedrick and Charlie Franklin Hedrick.
Surviving are brothers, Clyde Hedrick of Holden Beach, Clayton Hedrick of Lexington and Tommy Hedrick of Welcome; and sister, Nancy Walker of Interlachen, Fl.
