Ralph Pane, Sr.

Mr. Ralph Pane Sr., of Lexington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was 83 years old.

Born on February 11, 1942, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ralph was the beloved son of the late Louis and Victoria Pane. A man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, Ralph lived a life defined by hard work, service, and deep devotion to his family.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army and went on to build a successful career as an engineering manager with Thompson Consumer Electronics. Ralph was known for his sharp mind, steady leadership, and integrity in both his professional and personal life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Ann De Marco Pane, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. He is survived by his children: Ralph Pane Jr. and his wife Cynthia, Mark Pane, and his wife Rachael, and a daughter, Donna Lynn Shuta and her husband, Vincent. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Ralph was a devoted father and grandfather, and his legacy of love, wisdom, and resilience lives on in his children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday May 25, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. A Mass honoring Mr. Pane’s life will be held on Monday May 26th, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel. Committal will follow at West Lawn Gardens of Memory.
