Ralph Edward Peterson

Mr. Ralph Edward Peterson, age 69 of Lumina Drive, Lexington passed away Friday at his home.   Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Rev. Mark Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Welcome. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday.   Ralph was born in New Brighton, PA April 15, 1944 to Oscar Homer and Viola Hartman Peterson. He was district manager for Shoney’s; member of First Baptist Church of Welcome; veteran of the US Navy serving in the Vietnam War and a member of American Legion Post 8. Preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Shirley Craig; a brother, Charles Peterson.   Surviving are, daughters, Robyn Parker of Midway and Samantha Baxley (Scott) of Manteo; son, Ryan Peterson (Debbie) of Arcadia; 10 grandchildren, Caitlyn, Justin, Lauren, Eden Lily, Evelyn, Natalie, Cameron, Sydney and Zachary; sisters, Nancy Galza (Joseph), Anita Spiker and Doreen Peterson all of Ohio; brother, Richard Peterson of Florida.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
