Ranae Joyce Leonard

Ranae Joyce Leonard, 67, of Lexington, went to her eternal home and resting place on June 7, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday June 12, 2024 at Rural Hall Church of God with Pastor Rick Hudson officiating services. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 pm prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Leonard was born March 29, 1957 in Surry County to Auburn Allen Pedigo and Pansy Imogene Jefferson Pedigo. Ranae was beautiful inside and out. She was a very strong, loving and reliable friend and family member. She was also one who would help those in need, whether she knew them or not. She loved her family and her friends deeply and is someone that will be missed by many. Ranae was preceded in death by her parents and a step-mother, Nancy Pedigo.

Surviving is her husband, Randall Leonard of Lexington; a daughter Kayla Justice (Jeremy) of Lexington; two step daughters, Jeanette Everhart (Mike) of Salisbury and Susanne Stephens (Chad) of Lexington; one brother, Marty Pedigo (Christy) of Lexington; 1 grandchild, Easton Justice; 6 step grandchildren, Tyler Everhart, Dalton Kepley, Chase Stephens, Caitlyn Stephens, Jaylee and J.T Justice; a niece, Lindsey Pedigo (Dakota); a nephew, Dawson Pedigo; and a great nephew Ezekiel Snider.
