Randall Scott Bean

Randall Scott Bean, 47, of Hoover Road, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home by the Bishop Ronnie Shaw. Burial will follow in Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home of his mother on Hoover Road. Mr. Bean was born Jan. 12, 1965, in Davidson County to Archie Lee Bean Jr. and Hilda Christine Freedle Bean. He was a 1983 graduate of North Davidson High School, a farmhand for Dr. Tom Clarkson and a member of Faith Chapel. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to cook barbecue pork. Surviving are his wife, Jennie Cockerham Bean of the home; his parents; stepchildren Trey Crowell of Tyro, Ashley Crowell of Asheboro and Stefanie Anderson of Lexington; stepgrandchildren Hayden Crowell and Bryson Anderson; sister Jennifer Bean Gordon and husband Jeremy of Advance; and nephew Cameron Gordon of Advance.
