Randall Patrick Mccoy

Randall Patrick McCoy, age 16 of South NC Highway 150, Linwood passed away Sunday at his home after several years of declining health.   Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Sam Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, and at other times at the home.   Randall was born March 4, 1997 in Forsyth County to Carl Danny Shelhorse, Jr. and Mary Louise McCoy. He was a student at Stoner-Thomas School, of the Baptist faith and a great fan of the Carolina Tarheels. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Evelyn Dayton, and Henry and Maxine Gaydon.   Randall is survived by; his mother, Mary McCoy Godwin (Daniel) of the home; grandparents who help raise him, Henry and Sharon McCraw of the home; father, Carl Danny Shelhorse, Jr (Amy) of Delco; grandparents, Jim and Katherine Beasley of Reidsville, NC; Carl Danny Shelhorse, Sr. of Bassett, VA; half-brother, Justin Michael Latham of Lexington; aunt, Sandy McCoy Foster of Linwood; uncle, Vince McCoy, II of Kansas.
