Randall Alfred Stamey

Randall Stamey age 80 of Pine Top Road, died Monday, February 21, 2022.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington with Dr. Ricky Downing officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home, Thursday, February 24 from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm and other times at 1454 Ridge Road.

Randall was born on May 25, 1941, in Guilford County to Lloyd Alfred Stamey and Virginia Scott Stamey. He was a former Plant Manager at Pepsi, Greensboro and was a member of North Lexington Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Jo Wright Stamey; sister Shirley Faircloth, two grandchildren, Tanya Woodell, Timothy Ray Smith.

Surviving are; girl-friend, Brenda Pennington; Sons Randall Stamey Jr., Ricky Downing wife Ginger of Lexington, daughters; Deborah Humphrey of Linwood and Jamie Duncan and husband Mike of Lexington, sister Trina Edwards, nine grandchildren; Angie Smith, Ricky Downing Jr. (Lori), Michael Lane (Whitney), Melissa Huitron (Josue), Serena Beck, Stephanie Garris (Brandon), Colton Duncan (Jessica), Cory Duncan (Kayla), Justin Stamey (Laura), seventeen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
