Randy Kennedy

Randall “Randy”  Kennedy, 68, of Becks Nursery Road in Lexington, died Wednesday January 8, 2019 at his home.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Davdison Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating services.

Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home.

Mr. Kennedy was born May 12, 1950 in Guilford County to Cletus Webster Kennedy and Ruth Elizabeth Johnson Kennedy. He was owner/operator of Kennedy Furniture, a former employee of High Point Cigar and Piedmont Electric  and was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Barry Kennedy and a sister Brenda Kennedy.

Surviving is his wife, Janice Kennedy of the home; three sons, Randy Kennedy Jr. ( Tammy) of Lexington, Lee Kennedy ( Tara) of Denton and Michael Kennedy of Lexington; two brothers, Wayne Kennedy (Charlotte) of Virginia, and Larry Kennedy (Linda) of Florida; one sister, Linda Hall (Terry) of Archdale; and 9 grandchildren, Matthew, Cameron, Ashleigh, Hayden, Nick, Kelley, Shaylin, Tyler and Jacob.
