Randy Michael

Carey (Randy) Randall Michael, age 70, of Linwood passed away Saturday December 21, 2024 in Hinkle Hospice House after a short illness. Randy was born on November 17, 1954 in Davidson County to Melvin Baxter Michael and Peggy Moody Michael. He was the owner of Michael Masonry, known by some as the Brick Doctor. He was a member of Churchland Baptist Church and loved deer hunting, golfing, and spending time at the coast.  He was full of life, always equipped with a joke to tell and a way to make people laugh.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Matthew Dale Michael.

A service to celebrate Randy’s life will be 11:00 am Friday December 27, in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel by Rev Ray N Howell IV. Burial will be in Rowan Memorial Park. The family will visit with family and friends one hour before the service beginning at 10:00 am. They will also speak with friends after the service before processing to the cemetery.

Randy, is survived by his wife Lynne Mock Michael of the home: daughter Nicole Michael Branch and son-in-law Joseph Branch of Advance NC; two brothers, Mark Edward Michael (Troi  Ann) of Lexington and Richard Lee Michael of Badin NC; brother-in-law Steven Neal Mock (Teresa) of Salisbury NC. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews who he loved dearly.  He will also be greatly missed by his doodles Baylee, Saylor, and Lady who he loved so much.
