Raquel Perez, age 66, of Winston-Salem passed away at her home on Monday, April 13, 2020.
As to follow directives from Governor Coopers's office, a private gathering for the family will be scheduled at a later time.
Ms. Perez was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on July 12, 1953 to Roland Luna Perez and Raquel Guerrero Perez. Raquel was a nurse for Duke Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her father. Loving family members left here to cherish her memory are her mother; her brothers, Paul M. Perez and Donald R. Perez; sisters, Frieda A. Dunlap of Winston-Salem; Olivia L. Perez; Donna S. Perez; Geralyn S. Perez and Lenora Pendleton; along with many nieces and nephews.
