Ray “Pete” L. Fritts Jr., 39, of South Highway 150, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at his home following a two and a half year battle with cancer.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Freedom Baptist Church, where he attended, by Preacher Clyde Akers and Rev. Ronnie Perdue. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Fritts was born in Davidson County on August 21, 1967, to Ray L. Fritts Sr. and Martha LaDean Fritts. He attended Davidson County Community College, was a member of the American Pool Association and state champion foosball player.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Surviving are his wife, Tonya Earnhardt Fritts of the home; a son, Jacob Ray Fritts of the home; his father of Lexington; and sisters, Martha Raye McDaniel of London, UK, Theresa Dawn Westbrook and husband, Larry, Frankie Hughes and husband, Jim, Penny Perdue and husband, Ronnie, and DeeAnna DeBusk, all of Lexington; and special friend, Harold Swicegood of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
