Raymond Lee Crotts, 82, of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday October 9, 2022.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Second United Church of Christ in Lexington with the Rev. Jim Luck officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm prior to the service in the Church Parlor.
Raymond was born on July 26, 1940, in Lexington to Dorothy and Clifford Lee Crotts. Raymond retired after 46 years of service from Binnings Building Products, serving as the Transportation Supervisor. He was a veteran and active in American Legion, Amvets, Lions Club, and other organizations like Gold Leaf RV Club. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to everyone who knew him and he will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Rowe; brothers, Jerry and Dale Crotts; and his grandson, Justin Thompson.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife Erlene Crotts, brother Charles Crotts, six children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
