Raymond Ivey Kepley, age 80 of East First Street, Ext. Lexington passed away Friday morning at the Brian Center in Lexington. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Lackey officiating. The family will receive friends in the Mausoleum after the service and burial will follow in the cemetery. Raymond was born in Davidson County July 1, 1936 to William Ranson Kepley and Dollie Lanning Kepley. He was a retired employee of Stanley Furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Robin Kepley and a host of brothers and sisters. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Rebecca Lackey Kepley of the home; son, Dean Kepley (Michelle) of Lexington; daughters, Tammy Horton of Jacksonville, FL and Ginger Owens (Carlton) of Lexington; grandchildren, Joshua, Leah, J.C., Amanda, Michael, Brandon and Justin; great-grandchildren, Logan, Kendrick, Layla, Madison, Austin, Gavyn and R.J. and one brother, Jim Kepley (Martha) of Thomasville.
