Raymond John Lockwood

Raymond John Lockwood, 70 of Harmon Road went to be with his Lord Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church with the Rev. Michael Gates and Rev. Doug Klinsing officiating. Mr. Lockwood was born in Connecticut on April 4, 1939 to Lewis and Olga Geschimsky Lockwood. He was a lab technician with RJR/Archer Aluminum Co. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was a member of Faith Missionary Alliance Church. He is survived by his wife Nancy Berrier Lockwood; one son, Mark Lockwood of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Sandra Nifong and her husband Danny of Lexington; one sister, Helen Kroon and her husband Paul of Ohio; three grandchildren, Josh Lockwood, Matthew Nifong, Erin Nifong and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:45 to 6:45 PM, Tuesday evening before the service. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, P. O.
