Raymond Alfred Smith

Raymond A. Smith went to his heavenly home on October 15, 2023. He was born February 5, 1930, in West Caldwell, N.J.

Raymond went to his heavenly home to join his wife, Mary J. Smith, his son Raymond Jr, his daughter-in-law Melinda, and his grandson Kyle. He leaves behind his daughter-in-law Donna Smith, his son Larry Smith, his son Donald Smith, and his wife Jeannie, who were so very blessed with having him in their lives each and every day.

He was a man who truly loved his family, and his family truly loved him. He had seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was a proud member of the Brotherhood of Teamsters. He was an inventor in his spare time, gaining 3 patents to his name.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Hinkle Hospice House for Raymond's compassionate care. Memorials may be made to Hinkle Hospice House 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, N.C. 27292.

A private celebration of life will be made at a later date.
