Reba Thomason Gobble

Reba Carol Thomason Gobble, 73, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at her home in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Ben Farrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Gobble was born in Davidson County on November 28, 1946 to Hollis Thurman Thomason and Ethel Mae Younts Thomason. She was a retired health care technician, having worked for High Point Regional Hospital and was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Gobble was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gene Franklin Gobble, Jr.; and two sisters, Alma Baker and Mary Wood.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Gene Franklin Gobble, Sr.; her son, Timothy Gobble (Sherri) of Wallburg; her two daughters, Michelle Jones (Tim) of Davidson and Tonya Singleton (Frankie) of Lexington; a sister, Lois George of Lexington; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Ileen Turner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
