Rebecca "Becky" Cheryl Story Hartley

Rebecca Cheryl Story Hartley, 62, of Hartley Road, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at High Point Regional Hospital. The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Amazing Grace Baptist Church Cemetery with Preacher Clyde Akers and the Rev. Jerry Bowen officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home. Mrs. Hartley was born February 21, 1954, in Davidson County, to Frutchey Lee Story and June Brooks Story. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Carolina House and attended Amazing Grace Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Kayron Hunter. Surviving are her husband, Donald Rufford Hartley of the home; sons, Jared Story and wife Heather and Jon Story and wife Amanda, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Jeremy Dunn, Kaylee Story, Payton Story, Jake Story, and Levi Story; and brother, Ronald Story and wife Nancy of Asheboro.
