Rebecca "Becky" Osborne Porter

Rebecca “Becky” Osborne Porter 65 of Walser Road, Lexington passed away Friday afternoon at High Point Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Kelly Toth and burial to follow at Poplar Ridge Friends Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.   Mrs. Porter was born April 20, 1946 in Guilford County to Thomas Osborne and Ruby Skeen Osborne. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting.   Surviving are her husband, Ken Porter of the home. a son, Tom Porter and wife Claudia of Thomasville. Two daughters, Amy Porter Byrd and friend Paul of Midway and Flora Uko Tuttle of Westfield. 8 Grandchildren: Tyler, Megan, Austin, Jesse, Hannah, Daniel, Wyatt and Abby. 3 Special cousins, Dianne, Marlene and Taylor and special friends, Bill, Linda, Alta and Bonnie.   In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association P.
