Rebecca Pleasant

Rebecca Rhodes Pleasant, 82, of John Young Rd, died Saturday, March 17 at High Point Medical Center.    A funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday at Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ, by the Rev. William Sowers.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.    Mrs. Pleasant was born February 7, 1936 in Davidson County to Robert Lee Rhodes and Fallie Leonard Rhodes.  She retired from Sealy Mattress.  Her husband, Clinard Glenn Pleasant, and her sisters, Irene Frank, Ruby Frank, and Mary Goins, preceded her in death.    She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
