Rebecca Fortner Snider

Rebecca Fortner Snider, age 67 of Lexington, Southmont Community passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at her home surrounded by her family. There will be no services or flowers, however those who wish to honor Becky’s memory may do so by making a donation to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292 Rebecca was born in Davidson County, July 21, 1946 to Franklin Alexander Fortner, Sr. and Maggie Rebecca Goforth Fortner. She was a retired employee of Sealy Mattress, where she was employed for 47 years 7 months. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Tommy E. Snider of the home; daughter, Michelle Snider Evans of Shallotte; sisters, Colleen Stafford, Margaret Ward, Carolyn Koonts, Kathy Johnson (Richard) all of Lexington; brothers, Frank Fortner (Pat) of New Bern, Luke Fortner (Beverly) of Memphis, TN and Dewey Fortner of Fort Myers, Florida.
