Rebron Towery Reid

Mrs. Rebron Towery Reid, 92, a resident of Lexington Health Care and formerly of N. NC Hwy 150, Lexington, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 . A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Forest Hill Memorial Park by the Revs. Robert Willard and Wallace Cole. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30pm Saturday, prior to the service at Davidson Funeral Home. Mrs. Reid was born June 14, 1920, in Mecklenburg County, Va., to Letus Denzil Towery and Bessie Mae Odom Towery. She was formerly employed at Burlington Industries in the Winding Room and attended Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Abraham Reid. Surviving are daughters, Rose Jackson and husband, RA, Jackie Frank and husband, Joe, both of Lexington, and Paula Stump and husband, David of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ronell Towery of Lexington; and sister, Merle Morris of Lexington.
