Reeta Kay Harper

Reeta Kay Burkhart Harper, 82, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harper was born February 26, 1939, in Davidson County to Marvin Burkhart and Zella Mae Burkhart. She was a member of Second Reformed United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Joel Harper and her parents.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Eugene Harper and Larry Todd Harper; one daughter, Nathalie Lynn Harper Sutton (Larry); and three grandchildren, Jayce, Brandice, and Tymothy, all of Lexington.
