Regg Lyle

Grant Reginald Lyle, age 60, of Welcome, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington Medical Center. The family will see friends, 6-8-PM on Tuesday 1-22-2013 at Center United Methodist Church, 186 Center Church Road, Lexington, N.C. Regg, was born in Lexington, on June 14, 1952 to Douglas Alden Lyle, and Sarah Louise Beck Lyle. He was a partner in Precision Machine and Welding, and was a former fire chief, of Welcome Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving companion of 36 years, Sharon White. Surviving are: brothers, Kent Lyle and wife Paola of Arlington, VA and Todd Lyle and wife Michi of Hillsdale WY; sister, Sherree Ann Lang and husband John of Roanoke VA; uncles, David Beck and wife Pat of Welcome, Clifton Beck and wife Lynda of Midway, Ronnie Beck and wife Patsy of Benson NC; nieces and nephews, Nicole, Natalie, Todd, Nathan, and Jason, In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Carolina Cancer Services, 25 W. 6th Ave., Lexington, NC 27292.
