Reggie Wesley Cox

December 24, 1962 — December 19, 2023

Reggie Wesley Cox, age 60, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2023, at his home. He was born on December 24, 1962, in Forsyth County to Clarence and Linda Cox. Reggie was a self-employed ceramic tile craftsman who took pride in his work, leaving behind a legacy of skill and craftsmanship.

His love for freedom found its expression in the open road, as he reveled in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Whether cruising down the highway or parked at a local gathering, Reggie cherished the camaraderie of fellow riders and the feeling of the wind against his face.  Reggie had many friends and never met a stranger.

Reggie is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wesley (C.W.) Cox. He is survived by his mother, Linda Tucker Cox, and his three daughters: Amber Cox (Randi Ingram), Aspen Cox, and Jenna Cox (Alex Southwick). Reggie's spirit lives on through his two brothers, Kim and Darick Cox, and his sister, Lisa Bailey. Despite life taking its own course, Reggie maintained a close friendship with his previous wife, Robin Eberhart, who remained a significant part of his life.

Reggie had the joy of anticipating the arrival of two grandchildren who are on the way, and his love will undoubtedly be passed on to the next generation.

In honor of Reggie's memory, memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, reflecting his desire to contribute to the ongoing fight against cancer.

The staff at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is honored to be serving the Cox family during this difficult time, offering support and comfort.
