Reid Hedrick

Reid Hedrick, 86 of Wildlife Circle, Lexington died Friday morning, Jan. 26, 2007 at his home after a serious illness for 3 weeks. Mr. Hedrick was born August 7, 1920 in Davidson County to Jacob Edward Hedrick and Emma Sink Hedrick. A retired employee of Dixie Furniture, he was a former member of Hedrick’s Grove UCC Consistory and an Usher at his church. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Carl Hedrick, Millard Hedrick, Reece Hedrick, his twin brother, Jack Hedrick and a sister, Grace Leonard. Surviving are his wife Margaret Curry Hedrick of the home; daughter Peggy Hedrick Everhart and husband Jimmy of Lexington; granddaughter Jane Everhart Hedrick and husband Bradley of Lexington; great-grandson Jackson David Hedrick of Lexington; and a sister Mae Beck of Lexington. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ where he was a member. The service will be conducted by Rev. John Roberts, burial will follow in the Hedrick’s Grove United Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
