Reid Bradford Walser

Reid Bradford Walser, 81, of Patricia Lane, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice House, following a period of declining health. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wallace Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home. Mr. Walser was born January 30, 1932, in Davidson County, to Lester Walser and Lula Mae Shoaf Walser. He was retired from the Supply Room at Dixie Linwood and attended Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving are his loving wife, Thelma Tysinger Walser of the home; sons, Jeffrey Walser and fiancé, Debbie Meacham and Keith Walser and wife, Jerree, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Seth Walser, Joshua Walser, Anna Walser, Sarah Walser and Elizabeth Edwards; and a brother, LJ Walser.
