Reid Younts

Clarence Reid Younts Jr., 75, of Partridge Lane in Lexington, died Saturday September 14, 2019 at Brookdale of Lexington.

A celebration of life service will be held for Reid and his loving wife, Lynn Younts, who passed away August 22, 2019, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday September 22, 2019  at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, by Pastor Larry Blackburn.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.

Mr. Younts was born in New Hanover County on February 17, 1944 to Clarence Reid Younts Sr. and Hilda Snider Younts. Reid was owner of Anchor Camper, and many teenagers in our area spent many Friday and Saturday nights with Reid and Lynn, as they were the owners of Anchor Skating Rink. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Reid is survived by a son, Tracy Younts of Raleigh; a daughter, Tara Giles (Jimmy) of Lexington; a brother, Pepper Younts (Lora) of Lexington; a sister, Faye Kepley (Scott) of Lexington and a granddaughter, Brandy Hulin.
