Rena Marie Marion

Rena Marie Dutchman Marion, 77, of Booker Ave., Lexington passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, March 18, 2016 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kent Oviatt officiating. The Burial will be in Alaska. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday just prior to the service. Mrs. Marion was born December 12, 1938 in Shageluk, Alaska to Roland Dutchman and Flossie Workman Dutchman. She was a supervisor for Creative Plastic Molding. Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers, John Dutchman, Tommy Dutchman, Robert Dutchman, Franklin Dutchman and two sisters, Alice Dutchman and Ida Richards. Surviving are husband, Journey (Pete) Lee Marion of the home; two sons, Michael Nordahl (Yanping-Zong) of High Point, Robert Marion (Jean) of Germanton; two daughters, Karen Kapp of Lexington, Kimberly Marion of Alaska; seven grandchildren, Jacqueline Nordahl, Michael Nordahl, Jr., Kendal Kapp, Adam Kapp, Matthew Marion, Kyle Marion, Chase Marion; five great grandchildren, Katelyn Natal, Jax Natal, Abby Presnell, Ayden Presnell, Trenton Kapp; a brother, Raymond Dutchman of Alaska; a sister, Esther Jordan and husband, John of Alaska.
